Bowenfells to Carlton – New Home for 1929 Balbiani Bossi organ

Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Carlton

Wakeley Pipe Organs has been awarded the contract for the refurbishment and relocation of the newly purchased 1929 Balbiani Bossi organ for Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Carlton. The refurbishment will retain its original scrolled tuning and include the installation of a new blower and solid state control system. Originally built for the Brigidine Convent Chapel in Randwick, NSW, it was relocated to the St Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Bowenfells in 1986. It's new home will be as the sanctuary organ in Sacred Heart Carlton and be used to accompany chant and small services.
