The Swell bellows from the 1909 Norman & Beard organ (installed by our company in 2004) has been completely releathered and restored. The original leather, now 98 years old, had lasted extremely well but finally perished and required replacement. Our first Chinese trainee organ builder, Jia Jie Liu assisted Ian Wakeley in this work, learning the various skills of bellows releathering.
